AIMS, OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE

Journal Aims

The Journal of Surgery and Advanced Medical Research (JSAMR) aims to serve as a high-quality, peer-reviewed platform for the dissemination of original and innovative research in the surgical, clinical, and advanced medical sciences. The journal is dedicated to advancing the scientific and clinical understanding of interdisciplinary research that integrates modern operative interventions, clinical medicine specialties, diagnostic methodologies, and advanced therapeutic protocols.

Primary Objectives

The primary objectives of JSAMR are to:

  • Promote interdisciplinary research integrating advanced surgical sciences, clinical medicine fields, and modern healthcare technologies.
  • Encourage high-quality basic, translational, and clinical trials with direct relevance to surgical outcomes, disease management, and patient care        optimization.
  • Provide a credible publication platform for medical practitioners, clinical investigators, and surgical residents, while maintaining rigorous double-blind peer-review standards.
  • Support ethical research practices and transparent scholarly communication in accordance with international medical journal editing guidelines.
  • Facilitate the global exchange of clinical data by welcoming innovative submissions from both local and international healthcare networks.

Core Focus and Research Interface

JSAMR focuses on the dynamic interface of operative practices, medical disease tracking, and advanced clinical healthcare interventions. The journal provides a vast international forum for empirical investigations that advance the functional evaluation of human pathology and translate these findings into concrete clinical diagnostics, perioperative management protocols, and novel therapeutic treatments.

The journal publishes comprehensive basic, translational, and clinical studies covering a wide variety of medical areas, such as surgical techniques, patient safety models, multi-center trial configurations, and medical specialty systems. Special operational emphasis is placed on clinical trial designs, modern diagnostic monitoring, translational pharmacology, and the objective analysis of advanced operative protocols. Submissions dealing with innovative non-surgical clinical treatments, advanced radiology or imaging diagnostics, precision medicine, and robotic or minimally invasive interventions are highly welcomed.

JSAMR accepts experimental, observational, and in silico research across all fields of clinical and basic medical science, provided the manuscripts display high methodological rigor and immediate relevance to the journal’s scope.

Acceptable Article Formats

The journal encourages submissions that bridge fundamental discoveries with direct clinical impact and contribute to evidence-based healthcare systems. JSAMR welcomes the following article formats:

Indexing Tracking & Digital Dissemination

JSAMR is committed to enhancing the visibility, accessibility, and impact of published research. The journal strictly follows international best practices in scholarly publishing to meet the technical and ethical requirements of reputable indexing and abstracting services.

Structured in Compliance with Reputable Indexing Targets

The digital framework is built to satisfy evaluation parameters for core academic repositories, registries, and discovery networks, including: Google Scholar, Crossref (for permanent DOI registration), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and OAI-PMH compliant repositories. In coming years, JSAMR intends to apply for further indexing such as Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed.

* Indexing timeline statement: Formal applications for evaluation and inclusion within these major databases will be progressively submitted as the journal fulfills required publication volumes, issue consistency, and qualitative benchmarks.
